Sarah Wass - Owner and Director: Sarah graduated from Penn State with a Director's Credential and a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. Sarah has been in child care for almost 20 years, and is thrilled to be back doing what she loves. Sarah will be helping and mentoring in the classrooms, helping make the best educational environment possible, and helping staff, students, and parents as needed.
Shannon Wass - Co-Owner: Shannon has a Bachelor's in Social Studies Education and a Masters in Humanities from Penn State. She was a Pre-K teacher for almost two years, but is now working for a publishing company. Teaching is a true passion though, and she will be intricately involved in all things Little Leaders, consulting and also running the social media accounts.
Ashley Hoffman - Infant Teacher: Ashley has years of experience in Early Education. Little ones are Ashley's favorite age group, especially as the age that grows and learns new things like little sponges. Ashley is wonderful at trying new things, singing with the littles, and teaching them every single minute of the day. Quote: "Everything happens for a reason."
Kristl Bollinger - Toddler Teacher: Kristl has over 12 years of experience in early education. Kristl is a great addition to our team, with flexibility and a laid back attitude, she allows her students to learn, experience, and experiment at their own timeframe.
Tacey Weaver - PreKindergarten Teacher: Tacey joins us with years of early education experience. She is in the process of completing her early education teaching degree and certification for Pre-K through 4th grade. Tacey brings a great energy to the Pre-K room, and challenges them to try new things, get ready for Kindergarten, and overall, have fun while doing it. Liana Schoen - Floating Teacher, works in every classroom: Liana has a Bachelor's with a focus on human and family studies and has experience in the Early Education field. As a floating teacher, Liana personally takes care of every single child in the facility at least one day a week. Liana brings an infectious calm to the entire building, and the students she interacts with love their time with her. Quote: "Live for the moment."
Robyn Warren - Floater: Robyn has been in early education for many years, as Prek teacher, nanny, and many more positions, and is a great addition to our team. She fills in for teachers, provides extra help during projects, experiments, and big fun, and also frequently steps in to make lunch. We are lucky to have her back, and appreciate all she brings to our team.
Jocelyn Sebastian - Floater: Jocelyn has become an integral part of our team as a strong float teacher, working in every room. She has years of experience with children of all ages, which makes her a great addition to our team - able to interact and teach every child in the center. We are lucky to have her for her focused energy, fun & playful nature, and her interactions with parents and other leaders.
